Our Values

Our five values are at the core of Southcare and help us create our familial group culture, maintain high standards and develop a welcoming atmosphere. They were chosen by members of staff when they were asked which qualities were most important to them when providing care. The top five have become our company values, above. It’s important to know them, but it’s even more important that we live them. That’s why, at the start of 2019, we launched The ‘Living Our Values’ (L.O.V.) Challenge – a fun way that we can highlight how our values actively help us make a difference in the lives of our residents.


The Living Our Values or LOV Challenge is a great opportunity for us to practise what we preach. It’s an article that features in our quarterly newsletter, The Southcare Senior. It’s where one of our homes highlights an instance where they turned one of our company values in an action to improve things for our residents and the home in general.
