When it comes to your care, we take things personally.
We ensure our resident and their families’ needs come first. Every residents’ care, well-being and comfort is very important to us. Here are all the types of care we offer at our homes.
Caring for a loved one can be immensely rewarding but it can also be very tiring on the family. At Southcare Homes we provide short stays of a few days or longer, enough time to provide a short respite for a carer to “recharge the batteries”.
We offer 24-hour care for all residents. A unique personal care plan is prepared for each resident and it is reviewed regularly. All information, data and records relating to residents remains confidential and is protected. Visits to the dentist, optician and physiotherapist are arranged when required.

Choosing a care home for someone with dementia or early on-set dementia is always difficult. In special circumstances, we can provide dementia care. However, this would only be offered following a careful, individualised assessment so we can be sure we are able to provide the very best dementia care that your loved one deserves. We also keep finding ways to make our homes more dementia-friendly and can help you by sharing our experience, built up over a generation.

End of Life, or palliative, care is where a recovery from illness is not expected. At Southcare Homes we understand how upsetting this final stage of life can be for everyone. We are very respectful of our residents’ wishes and offer compassionate and sensitive care.
