Southcare Staff

Liji – Senior Healthcare Assistant, Grasmere

I joined Grasmere in 2011, and have worked my way up to a senior position. I have been supported for every training available from NVQ2 through to my Masters. I find Grasmere homely with a friendly atmosphere and a caring environment. I would welcome any new staff to join our team.

Prakash – Healthcare Assistant, Grasmere

Having been here since 2014, I cannot recommend working here enough. The team spirit is terrific and we are fully supported by management. The residents & relatives make this home what it is, and I love being a part of this family.

Kirsty - Senior Healthcare Assistant, Heatherdene

I have worked in the care industry for nearly 8 years and have been here for 6 months.   Alongside my role of providing support to our  residents, I also supervise other healthcare assistants to ensure they are working to a high standard and I co-ordinate the Care Certificate  for new employees to ensure they are trained to provide high quality care.

Samantha - Cook, Highbury House

I started working at Highbury house two years ago. I can honestly say that I have gained a lot of friends. The house has a friendly atmosphere. I am the cook and as a team we all work together to make sure that every individual living in the house is happy and catered for. We are all about person centred planning. Most of our staff team have been here for over five years some over ten and that in itself says a lot about how well we get treated. The residents is what makes the house, different characters and different stories they tell makes every day worthwhile.

Jodie - Activities Co-ordinator, Lime Tree House

I am a relatively new member of Lime Tree House having been here just a few weeks, yet the friendly and supportive nature of the staff has made me feel like part of the furniture in no time! The staffs' experience and passing on of knowledge is invaluable and their support has helped to ensure that my role as activities co-ordinator is thorough and that the activities we run are accessible to each individual resident throughout the house. I feel a genuine and strong sense of care and respect for each resident at Lime Tree House and it is an absolute pleasure to see personalities blossom and friendships form through the activities we do. Limetree hosts a wonderful mix of people and I feel very lucky to spend each afternoon getting to know each one better and better (residents and staff alike)!

Louisa - Administrator, Heatherdene Nursing Home

I have not long started working here at Heatherdene; since my time here I have met some wonderful residents and staff. We have an      open door policy, which I feel is great and inclusive. The home is very welcoming and the support network it provides to its service users and  all  staff is immense. I am definitely going to enjoy my time here and look forward to providing an outstanding administrative service to all  here at  Heatherdene.
